This introductory class will teach altered book techniques that will allow you to bring new life to old books, turning cast-off pages into a reliquary of personally meaningful content. Together, we will use several techniques that help turn trash into treasure. By the end of the workshop, you will understand how to:

An assortment of scrap papers and collage materials will be available, but to make it meaningful, participants should bring your own personal stash of paper ephemera, artifacts, and images to play with. A supplies list will be provided.
