During the week, I’m an Associate Creative Director/Designer at a professional services firm, but in my off time, I head to my art studio and get messy. People have told me that my paintings are whimsical and folkloric, which I love. The figures often have mutable forms, living in a world of impossible possibilities—where the expected is turned inside out and upside down. Unconstrained by predictability, I let my imagination lead where it will. Sometimes I’ll use kitchen utensils or knitting needles to help me relinquish control and embrace randomness.
